Autism Speaks Weekend Set for Feb. 3-5

Coaches Powering Forward for Autism benefiting Autism Speaks will take place on the weekend of February 3-5, 2017.

Coaches Powering Forward for Autism benefiting Autism Speaks will take place on the weekend of February 3-5, 2017. Last season, more than 250 NCAA coaches and their staffs, both men’s and women’s wore the Autism Speaks blue puzzle piece pin to raise awareness and acceptance of autism spectrum disorders. We hope that you will join us this year for this important cause.

Autism currently affects 1 in every 68 children in the U.S and is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders in the nation. As the fathers of sons with autism, we know firsthand the struggles families and individuals experience.

It is simple to participate: just visit www.autismspeaks.org/coaches, click on the link to register and complete the form to get your free pins. We will take care of the rest.

As coaches, we have a great opportunity to help increase understanding and acceptance of autism through the “Coaches Powering Forward for Autism,” program. Please join us.

Thanks and we look forward to working with you to make this initiative a success!

Sincerely,

Coaches Tom Herrion and Pat Skerry
