The NABC has selected Radford University, Queens University of Charlotte, Keene State College, Missouri Baptist University and Vincennes University as its first Teams of the Week of the 2018-19 season.
The NABC is now accepting nominations for the 2019 NABC Give Back Team, continuing its commitment to recognize men’s college basketball student-athletes who have made outstanding contributions through volunteerism and community service.
The NABC today announced the sixth annual Team Academic Excellence Awards, created by the NABC Committee on Academics. These awards recognize outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2017-18 season.

The NCAA named John Blazek the first NCAA Division II men’s basketball national coordinator of officials. Blazek has 28 years of officiating experience in addition to eight years as a supervisor of officials.
