Preseason Watch List Announced for NABC Division I Player of the Year Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches on Monday announced its preseason watch list for the 2020 NABC Division I Player of the Year powered by ShotTracker.
 
The 2020 NABC Division I Player of the Year award will be announced on Sunday, April 5 at the AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show in Atlanta, Ga. – site of the 2020 Final Four.
 
Headlining the preseason watch list are 2018-19 NABC Second Team All-Americans Cassius Winston of Michigan State and Markus Howard of Marquette. Kansas, represented by guard Devon Dotson and center Udoka Azubuike, is the only school with multiple players on the watch list.
 
Former Duke standout Zion Williamson was voted as the NABC Division I Player of the Year last season. A complete history of past NABC Player of the Year honors can be found here.
