KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC and its multimedia rightsholder Learfield IMG College on Tuesday announced an exclusive partnership with Stadium to broadcast the 2019 AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show.
The AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show – which will take place on Sunday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minn. – showcases college basketball’s most prestigious awards. It also features an exclusive chat with the NCAA National Championship Game head coaches, which this year will be moderated by Stadium’s college basketball insider Jeff Goodman.
“The AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show honors the standout student-athletes, coaches and contributors who make college basketball what it is,” said NABC Executive Director Jim Haney. “Stadium’s extensive multi-platform reach will offer a significant enhancement to this event, which is annually one of the most exciting nights of the college basketball season.”
Stadium is the original multi-platform sports network featuring exclusive live and on-demand games, highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio shows. Hosted by Bleacher Report and Turner Sports personality Taylor Rooks, the show will include the presentation of NABC Coach of the Year presented by Wilson Sporting Goods and NABC Player of the Year powered by ShotTracker awards for all three divisions. It will also feature the NABC Freshman of the Year presented by adidas, NABC Defensive Player of the Year presented by Marriott Bonvoy, Pete Newell Big Man of the Year presented by Paramount & Co., the NABC Metropolitan Award presented by Nike, the Hillyard NABC Golden Anniversary Award, and the NABC Guardians of the Game pillar awards, among others.
