Stephanie Whitcher serves as CFO of the NABC and NABC Foundation.  She joined NABC in 2008 and has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.  Ms. Whitcher oversees the accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgets, cash flows and risk management of both the NABC and NABC Foundation.

Before joining NABC, Ms. Whitcher served in accounting and finance roles in both public accounting firms and private entities.  She began her career at the accounting firm Grant Thornton in the audit department.  Ms. Whitcher served both not-for-profit and for-profit clients.  After relocating to Kansas City, Ms. Whitcher continued her public accounting career with Mayer Hoffman McCann, where many of her clients were not-for-profit entities.  After entering the private sector, Ms. Whitcher served in a variety of roles, including accounting manager and director of finance for private entities.

Ms. Whitcher earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University in 1991 and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas in 2007.
