NABC Announces Cancellation of 2020 NABC Convention

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In light of the ongoing concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the NABC has announced the cancellation of the 2020 NABC Convention in Atlanta.

“Cancelling the NABC Convention is not a decision we take lightly,” said NABC Executive Director Jim Haney. “Thousands of coaches from all levels of the game benefit annually from the professional development and networking experience of attending this marquee event.”

“However, our priority must always be the health and wellbeing of our member coaches, staff and partners. With the growing public health concerns in our country and abroad, as well as the NCAA’s decision to alter the operations of the Men’s Final Four, the NABC Board of Directors felt this was the appropriate course of action.”

The NABC is currently determining logistics for refunds in collaboration with the NCAA and hotel partners in Atlanta. Further notice regarding this process will be shared with NABC members, partners and stakeholders within the next two weeks. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented situation.
