NABC Launches “Guardians of the Game” Podcast Series

The NABC, in partnership with IMG, today announced the launch new podcast series titled “Guardians of the Game.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches, in partnership with IMG, today announced the launch new podcast series titled “Guardians of the Game.” Michigan State head coach and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Tom Izzo is the featured guest on the debut episode.

Hosted by former Wake Forest, South Carolina and East Carolina coach Dave Odom, the Guardians of the Game podcast will feature insightful conversations with many of the sport’s most prominent current and former coaches, covering a variety of on and off-court topics. New episodes will be available each Monday throughout the remainder of the college basketball season.
 
“Basketball coaches are leaders, teachers, mentors and role models,” said NABC Executive Director Jim Haney. “They have excellent stories to tell and wisdom to share, and we’re excited to give them a platform on the Guardians of the Game podcast.”
 
The Guardians of the Game podcast will be available for free on College Sports Now’s TuneIn channel, along with Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music and Stitcher.
 
The podcast is produced by IMG, the multimedia rights holder for the NABC.
