Christian Roman joined the NABC staff in the summer of 2023. He was hired through the McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative, a program started by coaches Frank Martin, Tommy Amaker and John Calipari that provides minorities with opportunities in athletics and corporate settings.

Christian came to the NABC after working at New York University Athletics as a Facilities and Event Supervisor. At NYU, his responsibilities included managing several athletic facilities , managing indoor and outdoor sporting events, and serving as a point person for end-to-end project scoping which included cost and vendor management. He began his athletic administration career at Manhattanville College as a student manager in the men’s basketball program where he oversaw all basketball operations.

Christian is a native of the Bronx, NY, where he currently resides along with his Mother and nephew. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports studies (2017) and a master’s degree in sports management (2020) from Manhattanville College.
