Minneapolis, Minn. – Former NBA standouts Jason Terry and Nate Robinson will go head to head, not as players but as coaches for the 2019 Reese’s College All-Star game, which will be played on Reese’s Final Four Friday, April 5, at the US Bank Stadium at 3:30 p.m. CT as part of the 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four in Minneapolis. Reese’s brand is the official candy partner of the NCAA.
The annual game features 20 of the most outstanding senior players in NCAA Division I. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. Live stats will be available at http://nabc.statbroadcast.com.
A collegiate star at the University of Arizona, Terry was a sophomore on the Wildcats’ 2004 NCAA championship team and earned honors as the PAC-10 player of the year. He scored 1,000 career points with 200 career assists at Arizona before leaving for the NBA. The 6-2 guard was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks but played the bulk of his career with the Dallas Mavericks. Terry won the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2009. He ended his NBA career in 2018 with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Robinson played at the University of Washington, earning first team All-PAC 10 honors as a sophomore in 2003-04. He was a third team All-America selection by the NABC as a junior and led the Huskies to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2004-05. The NBA’s first three-time slam-dunk champion and one of the shortest players in NBA history, the 5-9 guard played in the NBA from 2005-2015.
