Cameron joined the NABC staff full time in November 2025 as Assistant Director of Events/Accounts Manager. Her journey with the organization began in 2021 as an intern through the McLendon Leadership Initiative – a program designed to equip young professionals with real-world sports industry experience and meaningful networking opportunities.
In July 2022, she transitioned from her NABC internship into a marketing role with the professional gaming and esports brand Evil Geniuses. Over three and a half years, she grew from Brand Marketing Specialist to Brand Marketing Manager, leading intern cohorts and expanding her experience across marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, sales operations, events, merchandise, consumer products, and general operations.
Sports have always been a central part of Cameron’s life. Raised around sports her entire life; baseball, where her father has worked and continues to work in MLB, and she went on to compete as a student-athlete during her first year of college. Though she explored the world of gaming and esports, she’s thrilled to return to college basketball and the sports community she loves.
Born and raised in Texas, she’s a proud Texas native. She earned her bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and is motivated to pursue a Master’s in the future.
Cameron is a family-oriented person who loves spending time with her mom, dad, and brother. Outside of work, she is active in her local church, enjoys being outdoors, loves to travel, and values quality time with the people she cares about most.
