Wade joined the NABC staff in September 2011. As Director of Corporate Relations, he assists in managing all facets of the NABC Corporate Team Program, including developing potential sponsorship opportunities, evaluating and reviewing sponsorship proposals and ensuring fulfillment of all sold assets. In addition to his role in corporate relations, Wade also manages the NABC Reese’s College All-Star Game held annually at the Final Four which provides opportunity for the top Division I senior student-athletes to participate in one final collegiate game on the Final Four court. Wade also manages the Division II and Division III NABC All-Star Games held at their respective championship sites.
As the NABC staff liaison to both the Division II and Division III Board of Director members and their respective congresses, Wade serves as a daily resource for those coaches and helps develop and shape legislation and policy issues that serve the coaches and student-athletes at those levels.
In addition, Wade assists with the Blue Ribbon Committee that selects the members of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame (NCBHOF). He also serves on the operation teams for other events including the NABC Convention, Hall of Fame Classic and the NCBHOF Induction Celebration.
Before his current position at the NABC, Wade was an intern for the association during the 2010-11 basketball season. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
