KANSAS CITY, Mo. – NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson released the following statement on the cancellation of NCAA Division III winter championships, including the 2021 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship.
“The NABC was saddened to learn of the cancellation of the 2021 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship. Student-athletes and coaches alike work tirelessly in pursuit of competing for a national championship, and to lose that opportunity for a second-straight season is unfortunate for all involved. The NABC remains committed to supporting coaches and student-athletes on and off the court as our game continues to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
