NABC Introduces Division III Student-Athlete Development Coalition

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC on Wednesday announced the formation of the NABC Division III Student-Athlete Development Coalition. The Student-Athlete Development Coalition features a diverse roster of NCAA Division III men’s basketball players who will provide direct feedback on a variety of national issues to the NABC.

The NABC initially launched the program last season for Division I and is now expanding to engage all three NCAA divisions. The Division III Student-Athlete Development Coalition is comprised of one representative from each of the 10 Division III regions.

“The NABC is committed to helping grow Division III basketball and addressing key issues that impact the sport, and we consider the student-athlete voice an essential component to that process,” said NABC Associate Executive Director Nate Pomeday, who chairs the coalition. “The ongoing work of the NABC Board of Directors, Division III Congress and our staff on behalf of Division III coaches will benefit greatly from the Student-Athlete Development Coalition’s unique perspective.”
