NABC Two-Year College Award Winners Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC has announced its 2022-23 Two-Year College Coach of the Year, Player of the Year and All-America Teams.

 

Milwaukee Area Tech’s Randy Casey was named the NABC Two-Year College Coach of the Year, and John A. Logan’s Curt Lewis was selected as the NABC Two-Year College Player of the Year. The NABC Two-Year College All-America Teams, meanwhile, include representation from the NJCAA, CCCAA and NWAC.

 

Casey led Milwaukee Area Tech to a 32-4 record and the NJCAA Division II national championship. The Stormers finished the season on a 10-game winning streak, including a dominant 86-65 victory over Macomb in the national title game.

 

Lewis averaged 14.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 points per game this season, guiding John A. Logan to the NJCAA Division I national title. Lewis shot 51.8 percent overall on the year, and totaled 45 combined points in the Vols’ national semifinals and national championship game victories.
