KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emmanuel senior guard KJ Jones II has been selected as the 2024 NABC Division II Player of the Year.
Jones was the top scorer in Division II this season, averaging 26.2 points per game. He is the active career scoring leader in Division II.
Jones was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Year – the third time he has earned the honor – while leading Emmanuel to a 26-7 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He shot 46.9 percent overall and a conference-leading 88 percent from the foul line while averaging 4.9 rebounds and four assists per game.
The Atlanta native becomes the first NABC Division II Player of the Year in Emmanuel program history.
