KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC has announced its 2023-24 Two-Year College Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and All-America Teams.
National Park’s Dillon Hargrove has been voted as the NABC Two-Year College Coach of the Year, while South Suburban’s Jemel Jones was selected as the NABC Two-Year College Player of the Year. The NABC Two-Year College All-America Teams include representation from NJCAA, CCCAA, and NWAC programs.
Hargrove led National Park to the NJCAA Division II national championship and a 31-1 overall record. The Nighthawks opened the season on a 27-game win streak, and defeated South Suburban 84-79 in the national title game.
Jones, meanwhile, averaged 33.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 3.3 steals per game for South Suburban. The sophomore guided SSC to a 34-3 record and an appearance in the NJCAA Division II championship game.
