NABC Announces 2024 NAIA Coach, Player of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC on Monday announced the 2024 NABC NAIA Coach and Player of the Year – both of whom represent Grace College.

 

Grace’s Scott Moore has been selected as the NABC NAIA Coach of the Year. Moore led the Lancers to a 34-2 overall record and an appearance in the NAIA Men’s Basketball Championship national semifinals. Grace won both the Crossroads League regular season and tournament titles, and outscored its opponents by an average of 21.3 points per game.

 

Grace’s Elijah Malone was named the NABC NAIA Player of the Year. The senior center averaged 17.3 points per game and ranked second in the Crossroads League by averaging 8.3 rebounds per game. Malone shot 63 percent overall from the field and 81.4 percent from the foul line, and led the conference with an average of 2.5 blocks per game.
