UW-Platteville’s Pearson Selected as NABC Division III Player of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Wisconsin-Platteville senior forward Logan Pearson has been selected as the 2024 NABC Division III Player of the Year.

Pearson led the Pioneers to a 26-5 overall record and both the WIAC regular season and tournament championships. He averaged 23.1 points per game, a mark that ranked second in the WIAC and currently sits fifth nationally.

Pearson was named the WIAC Player of the Year and was voted WIAC Player of the Week six times this season. He had four 30-plus point games while shooting 48.8 percent overall, 41.3 percent on three pointers, and 85.5 percent from the foul line.

The NABC District IX Player of the Year also averaged 6.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game – both of which led the Pioneers.

Pearson becomes Wisconsin-Platteville’s second NABC Division III Player of the Year, joining Merrill Berunson in 1999.
