NABC members,
As a new season draws near, I’m pleased today to share an important announcement with our NABC membership. The NABC and NCAA have reached a three-year extension of our longstanding partnership that will keep the NABC Convention operating alongside the Men’s Final Four through at least 2028.
The NABC Convention will return to Indianapolis in 2026 – where all three NCAA divisions and the NIT will crown their champions – followed by Detroit in 2027 and Las Vegas in 2028. NABC members will also continue to receive access to Final Four game tickets and hotel accommodations through the NABC Convention registration process.
We have strived to remain fully transparent with our membership as negotiations for both last year’s NABC Convention and this new three-year extension progressed. As I’ve spoken with many of you on this topic since joining the NABC staff, your passion for maintaining the NABC Convention’s link to the Final Four was apparent – and no doubt influenced our approach to negotiating with the NCAA. We continue to believe that collaboration between the NABC and NCAA benefits the sport beyond just the NABC Convention and Final Four, and this partnership also includes mechanisms that will foster more frequent dialogue between coaches and senior NCAA leaders.
You will soon receive information on registration for the 2026 NABC Convention, and I encourage you to prioritize attending the event as we learn from coaching colleagues and voice feedback on the many issues currently impacting our game. Additionally, anyone who has already renewed their NABC membership for 2025-26 or does so by Nov. 4 will receive $25 off the 2026 NABC Convention early registration rate.
Thank you for your membership and for your impact on the NABC. Here’s to a successful season ahead as we set sights on the 2026 NABC Convention in Indianapolis!
Sincerely,

Craig Robinson
NABC Executive Director
