NABC Announces 2024-25 Two-Year College Awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC has announced its 2024-25 Two-Year College Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and All-America Teams.

 

Kirkwood’s Tim Sandquist has been selected as the NABC Two-Year College Coach of the Year, while Snow’s Isaac Finlinson was voted as the NABC Two-Year College Player of the Year. The NABC Two-Year College All-America Teams include representation from NJCAA, CCCAA, and NWAC programs.

 

Sandquist led Kirkwood to the NJCAA Division II national championship and a 33-3 overall record. The Eagles won 15 of their final 16 games, including a thrilling 55-54 victory over Parkland in the national title matchup. Kirkwood outscored its opponents by an average of 14.5 points per game over the season, and outrebounded its competition by an average of 10.6 per game.

 

Finlinson averaged 18.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game this season, leading Snow to a 32-2 overall record. He tallied 30 double-digit scoring games, 14 20-point games, and three 30-point performances, while shooting 51.6 percent overall from the field and 78 percent from the foul line.
