NABC Announces 2025 NAIA Award Recipients

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC on Monday announced the recipients of the 2025 NABC NAIA Coach and Player of the Year awards, along with the NABC NAIA All-America Team.

 

College of Idaho’s Colby Blaine was voted as the NABC NAIA Coach of the Year after leading the Yotes to their second national title in three years. Blaine’s program finished the season 35-2 overall and 21-1 in Cascade Collegiate Conference games. College of Idaho won their six NAIA Tournament games by an average margin of 20 points, including a 93-65 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan in the championship game. Blaine also earned NABC Coach of the Year honors following his 2023 championship season.

 

LSU Alexandria’s Kashie Natt is the NABC NAIA Player of the Year. The senior guard averaged 19.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and two steals per game, helping LSUA reach the NAIA quarterfinal round and finish 31-3 overall. Natt shot 47.6 percent from the field and 77.5 percent from the foul line this season.
