Matchups Announced for 2026 Hall of Fame Classic

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Iowa State, Wichita State, Missouri State and Drake will take part in the 2026 Hall of Fame Classic on Dec. 18 at T-Mobile Center in downtown Kansas City.

 

The neutral-site doubleheader will feature Iowa State taking on Missouri State and Drake battling Wichita State. Specific game times, ticket details and broadcast assignments will be announced soon.

 

The 2026 Hall of Fame Classic will mark the event’s 26th year of operation in Kansas City, and its second time to be structured as a neutral-site doubleheader.

 

Iowa State finished the 2025-26 season ranked No. 8 in the nation after going 29-8 and reaching the Sweet 16. Wichita State won 24 games and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 2026 NIT. Missouri State made a seven-win improvement in 2025-26 from the prior season, and Drake has reached the NCAA Tournament in four of the past six years.

 

Wichita State most recently competed in the Hall of Fame Classic in 2024, Missouri State most recently participated in 2018, and Iowa State’s only appearance in the event came in 2014. Drake will be making its first-ever Hall of Fame Classic appearance.
