The NABC is proud today to publicly recognize the coaches who earned NABC Professional Development Series (PDS) certification at the 2026 NABC Convention. These coaches – who span all levels of the sport – maximized their NABC Convention experience by learning from the event’s diverse lineup of speakers and session topics.
“The NABC has the privilege of coming alongside coaches as the pressures and demands of the profession continue to grow,” said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. “Coaches are much more than basketball tacticians – they’re leaders, mentors, educators and role models. I commend our members who earned PDS certification at the 2026 NABC Convention for prioritizing growth in all phases of their jobs.”
The NABC PDS Clinic series is a continuing education program that helps coaches build competencies both on and off the court. To earn NABC PDS certification, coaches must have attended at least five designated PDS Clinics at the NABC Convention and completed a post-event certification form. PDS Clinics annually cover topics including Xs and Os, leadership, mentoring, ethics and more. NABC members can also earn PDS certification at regional NABC Championship Basketball Clinics.
