“Monday night’s passage of the Protect College Sports Act in the Senate was an encouraging step towards stabilizing college athletics. The NABC commends Senate leaders for their efforts in advancing the bill, and for their eagerness to consider the perspective of coaches throughout the legislative process. As the bill now heads to the House, the NABC and our member coaches will continue to collaborate with elected officials and advocate for common sense national standards that preserve academic and competitive opportunities for future generations of college athletes.”
