KANSAS CITY, Mo. – NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson has issued a statement following the announced retirement of Creighton head coach Greg McDermott.
“Greg McDermott’s on-court resume speaks for itself, with 645 career wins spanning both the Division II and Division I levels, 13 NCAA Tournament bids, and three Sweet 16 appearances among the many highlights. Just as significantly, Greg has been an influential leader off the court – most notably through his tireless advocacy in support of Coaches vs. Cancer. On behalf of the NABC, I congratulate Greg on his retirement announcement and thank him for his decades of impact on our sport.”
