KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC will collaborate with Grow the Game at the 2022 NABC Convention and beyond to support professional development and relationship building between student-managers and coaches.
Launched in 2020, Grow the Game is a community of current and former basketball student-managers that provides its members with networking and career development services. Grow the Game members will receive free access to the numerous X&O, leadership development and networking content at the upcoming NABC Convention in New Orleans.
NABC members will gain access to Grow the Game’s directory through their upcoming GA Pathway Program, providing a vehicle for coaches to connect with managers aspiring to be graduate assistants, assistant coaches and other support staff positions.
“As any coach knows, managers are the unsung heroes of our basketball programs,” said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. “Many of our sport’s most accomplished coaches are former managers themselves, and we are excited to partner with Grow the Game to help these young people advance their careers.”
