The NABC Celebrates Jim Boeheim

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson has issued a statement following Wednesday’s announcement that Jim Boeheim’s tenure at Syracuse has come to an end.

“The conclusion of Jim Boeheim’s tenure at Syracuse marks the end of one of the most accomplished runs at a single institution in college sports history, both in longevity and success. Few coaches can rival his on-court resume – 35 NCAA Tournaments, five Final Fours and a national title in 47 years at Syracuse, along with three Olympic gold medals. His enshrinements in the Naismith and National Collegiate Basketball Halls of Fame were well earned. Behind the scenes, he has long been a key voice for the NABC’s advocacy efforts, including recently as a member of our influential Ad Hoc Committee on Basketball Issues. I salute Coach Boeheim on a remarkable career at Syracuse, and on behalf of the NABC, I thank him for his impact on our game.”
