West Tops East in 2024 NABC-Reese's Division I All-Star Game

GLENDALE, Ariz. –  New Mexico’s Jaelen House was named the Most Valuable Player from the West leading his team to a 87-75 win over the East in the NABC-Reese’s College All-Star Game at State Farm Stadium.

House led the West with 16 points while adding four assists and three rebounds and he shot six of eight from the field. He had 12 points in the first half, the only player in double figures in the opening half.

Quinten Post from Boston College took home MVP honors from the East as he finished with a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds.

Steve Lavin from the University of San Diego was the head coach of the West team while Greg Kampe from Oakland coached the East All-Stars.

Sean East II (Missouri) added 13 points and a game-high six assists to go with seven rebounds for the West while Enrique Freeman (Akron) and Isaac Jones (Washington State) each added ten points in the win.

Gabe McGlothan (Grand Canyon) and Jesse Edwards (West Virginia) led the West with nine rebounds each.

Quincy Olivari from Xavier led the East with 16 points while Jamison Battle (Ohio State) was also in double figures for the East with 11 points.

The West jumped out to a quick 11-2 lead in the first four minutes. The East would use a 19-2 run capped on a 3-pointer by Gohlke to take a 26-18 lead with 10:44 left in the first half.

The West regained the lead 29-28 as Isaac Jones capped an 11-2 spurt with a jumper with 8:04 left in the half.

The East closed the half on a 12-4 run to lead 44-39.

Edwards scored the first six points of the second half giving the West the lead 45-44 on a dunk with 18:17 left.

The West would later score eight straight to take a 69-56 lead with 8:24 remaining to put the game away.
