WASHINGTON, D.C. – The NABC released the following statement on Monday.
“NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson joined a contingent of coaches and industry leaders on Capitol Hill on Monday to discuss the Protect College Sports Act with a bipartisan group of elected officials. Robinson reinforced three core NABC priorities throughout his conversations: the urgent need to restore stability to college athletics, the importance of preserving opportunities for young men and women to both compete and earn an education, and the vital input coaches can offer in shaping meaningful reform. The NABC appreciates the opportunity to work alongside stakeholders and congressional leaders who are committed to a sustainable future for college sports, and we will continue championing the perspectives of our member coaches as legislative efforts forge ahead.”
